From the lecture halls of Kien Giang College (KGC) to the professional world of international-standard hotels, Danh Thanh Kính, an alumnus of the K9 Hospitality Management program, is steadily proving his professional competence and leadership in the hospitality industry.

Kính currently serves as the Restaurant Manager at Wyndham Garden Grandworld Phu Quoc. His responsibilities include overseeing Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, managing staff, handling VIP guests, conducting training, maintaining service standards, and driving business and event planning.

Reflecting on his time at KGC, Kính credited the school's highly practical curriculum, modern facilities, and experienced, supportive faculty for his smooth transition into the industry. He particularly highlighted the college's strong industry partnerships, which allow students to gain valuable hands-on experience through internships prior to graduation.

Looking back at his student years, Kính fondly recalled representing KGC alongside his classmates in enrollment campaigns and various student exchange programs. He also noted that constructive feedback from his lecturers served as a vital driving force, helping him mature both personally and professionally.

Offering advice to current Tourism and Hospitality students, Kính shared: "I started from the very bottom. This industry comes with high pressure, but it also offers immense opportunities for growth. Do not fear difficulties, never stop learning, and do not give up too early. The right attitude, hard work, and a progressive mindset will take you far. Give your all to your youth and your chosen career."
