On the morning of September 3, 2026, the Mac Cuu Campus of Kien Giang College (KGC) was buzzing with excitement as over 700 new intermediate-level students officially arrived for enrollment. Concurrently, more than 2,000 returning students returned to campus, creating a vibrant back-to-school atmosphere.
This milestone marks a proud achievement in KGC’s enrollment efforts, with total admissions exceeding targets set by the Provincial People's Committee.
For the incoming class, this day marks not only their official enrollment but also the start of a transformative journey of learning, personal growth, and practical experience. Students met their academic advisors, acquainted themselves with classmates, and participated in orientation sessions. These activities focused on fostering political awareness, ethics, and national pride, alongside practical guidance on traffic safety, effective learning strategies, and adapting to campus life.
On the morning of September 5, the new cohort will join the nationwide online opening ceremony and KGC’s official welcome event. Subsequently, KGC will welcome Course 20 associate degree students on September 14, promising another memorable milestone for this academic season.
KGC warmly welcomes over 700 new intermediate students to the college family and wishes them a successful, inspiring academic journey ahead.
