Transitioning from campus to the workforce marks the beginning of a new chapter—one filled with unfamiliar tasks, high pressure, and problems that text-books never covered. Yet, these exact challenges serve as catalyst for personal and professional growth. This reflects the journey of Đỗ Ngọc Quyến, an alumna from the Accounting program (Cohort 17) at Kien Giang College (KGC).

During her time at KGC, Quyến actively balanced academic studies with student activities, participating in academic competitions and sports tournaments. Her dedication earned her multiple academic scholarships, the title of "Outstanding Student" for two consecutive years, the campus-level "Five-Good Student" award for the 2024–2025 academic year, and an Encouragement Prize in the 2025 Legal Knowledge Competition.

Following graduation, Quyến joined Ngọc Tuyết – Gia Bảo Gold Enterprise as an accountant. Entering a high-volume, fast-paced environment as a fresh graduate initially presented a steep learning curve. Rather than being overwhelmed, she took the initiative to research, learn from experienced colleagues, and refine her skills step by step.
Leveraging the foundational knowledge and practical skills acquired at KGC, Quyến quickly adapted to her responsibilities. Her strong communication skills and resilience further accelerated her professional development.

“The knowledge and guidance provided by my lecturers enabled me to absorb new concepts and adapt to the workplace much faster,” Quyến shared. She emphasized that while skills and knowledge build the foundation, perseverance is the key to overcoming challenges.
KGC believes that with her drive and commitment to continuous learning, Ngọc Quyến will continue to excel and reach new milestones in her career.
