Nguyễn Ngọc Quế Anh, an outstanding student of Kien Giang College, officially graduated in 2025 after three years of diligent and dedicated study. Throughout her studies from 2022 to 2025, Quế Anh not only achieved impressive academic results but also demonstrated outstanding leadership by serving as class president of the batch 16 Tourism English class at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages.

Quế Anh maintained impressive academic results throughout her three years of study, demonstrating her unwavering dedication and determination. Furthermore, she actively participated in extracurricular activities organized by the Youth Union and the faculty. As a monitor, Quế Anh helped organize and lead many extracurricular activities, thereby developing her leadership skills and building strong relationships with her friends and teachers.

EXCITING SPORTS DAYS TO CELEBRATE MAJOR ANNIVERSARIES

Joining in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the Liberation Day of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), International Labor Day (May 1st), and the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; the Trade Union of Kien Giang College organized a sports event for cadres, civil servants, and employees to respond to the movement "Physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh".

Heldfrom April 23rd to the morning of April 25th, 2026, the Sports Days brought together nearly 200 athletes from 14 Trade Union branches. The athletes competed enthusiastically at the Dormitory Multi-Purpose Hall (To Hien Thanh street) in four events: Chinnese chess, soft-volleyball, tug-of-war, and ballsthrowing into baskets. After a series of spirited and exciting competitions, the Sports Days concluded successfully on Saturday noon, April 25th, 2026.

The sports festival not only created a healthy playground to improve physical and mental fitness but also provided an opportunity for staff and workers to interact, learn, and strengthen solidarity among units. At the closing ceremony, representatives from the Board of Rectors and the Trade Union awarded prizes to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results. The college's leadership also expressed their hope that all staff and workers would continue to maintain a sporting spirit and improve their health to contribute even more to the sustainable development of KGC in the future.

[KGC Stories – Stories of KGC Youth] Student Võ Văn Đạt – Unceasing Effort to Achieve His Dreams

Not everyone has a smooth academic path, but it is precisely these difficulties that become the motivation for many young people to strive relentlessly. The story of Võ Văn Đạt – a student in the Automotive Technology (College 9+ , Batch 4) – is a clear example of overcoming challenges and persistently pursuing career dreams.

Born into a not-so-well-off family, Đạt experienced the hardships of life from a young age. His father unfortunately fell seriously ill and became paralyzed on one side of his body. Every day, his mother worked various jobs to support the family. Witnessing this silent sacrifice, Đạt always told himself he had to study hard to live up to his mother's expectations.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, Đạt was recognized as an ExcellentStudent and also won third prize in the Automotive Technology sub-committee of the "Skilled Craftsman" competition in 2024, affirming his professional competence and eagerness to learn. Beyondhis studies, Đạt actively participated in school and local extracurricular activities, achieving many accomplishments and receiving awards along with his teammates.

Đạt said: “I used to bequite shy and rarely participated in group activities. However, after entering university and joining the Youth Union and Student Association, I gradually became more confident and assertive. This environment has helped me mature day by day.”

Đạt's dream after graduation is not something distant or unrealistic, but rather simple yet meaningful: to have a stable job in his chosen field of study, a steady income to support his family, help his mother, and care for his father. For him, success is not just about achieving a high position or salary, but about being able to become a solid support for his family.

Võ Văn Đạt’s story will surely be a positive inspiration for many other students. We wish Đạt continued confidence on his chosen path, and that he continues to strive every day to achieve more success and turn his dreams into reality!
