To strengthen connections and share expertise in vocational education and training, Kien Giang College hosted a delegation from Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh Economic and Technical Intermediate School (under the Hồ Chí Minh City Department of Education and Training) on September 19, 2026.

The welcoming delegation from Kien Giang College included Vice Rectors Dr. Nguyễn Đông Hải and Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hoàng Quyên, along with department heads and representatives from three faculty departments at the Mac Cuu Campus. The visiting delegation was led by Vice Rectors M.Sc. Bùi Hồng Phong and M.Sc. Nguyễn Minh Quốc Bảo, accompanied by leaders from various departments, faculties, and the school’s trade union.

During the working session, representatives from both institutions provided overview presentations on their organizational structures, operational scales, and key training strengths. Discussions focused on key operational areas, including:

• Practical training models and enrollment strategy targeting.

• Student management practices tailored to different demographics.

• Institutional merger updates and strategic future development plans.

Following the meeting, the delegation toured the training workshops and practical facilities of three key faculties at the Mạc Cửu Campus: Mechanical Engineering & Construction, Electrical & Electronics, and Tourism & Foreign Languages.

The visit concluded successfully, laying the groundwork for long-term collaboration, knowledge sharing, and enhanced educational quality between the two institutions.
