Learning linked with practical experience is a key approach taken by Kien Giang College (KGC) to equip students with professional readiness while still in school. From April 15 to September 15, 2026, 64 students from the Automotive Engineering Technology program (Cohort 18 and 9+ cohort 3) completed a hands-on internship at the VinFast Factory in Hải Phòng.

More than an ordinary internship, the program served as an immersive gateway into a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment. Students directly explored corporate operational models, production organization, management principles, and task assignments. Through their daily responsibilities, participants recognized that professional knowledge must go hand-in-hand with discipline, proactivity, and workplace accountability, while honing essential practical skills for their future careers.

Throughout the five-month tenure, students received standard intern benefits alongside a steady stipend to help offset educational and living expenses. These practical incentives provided vital motivation, encouraging students to foster independence and initiative in their vocational training.
