Every student enters higher education with unique dreams and aspirations for the future. For Nguyễn Ngọc Minh Thư, an alumna of the Information Technology program (Cohort 15) at Kien Giang College (KGC), her years at the institution built a solid foundation that empowered her to step confidently into a professional role at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc.
Throughout her academic journey, Minh Thư demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and relentless determination. She actively participated in faculty academic clubs, Youth Union initiatives, and student association activities, continually challenging herself across various platforms. Her dedicated efforts yielded an impressive series of accolades: excellent academic scholarships for four consecutive semesters, the Outstanding Student title in both 2021 and 2022, and First Prize in the college’s Spring Greeting Card Design Competition.

“The faculty members were always supportive, offering dedicated guidance and creating opportunities for students to unleash their full potential. That support gave me the confidence I needed when transitioning into the professional workforce,” Minh Thư shared.
Upon graduation, Minh Thư joined Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, where she currently serves as an Administrative Specialist. The core knowledge and technical competencies gained at KGC enable her to carry out her duties efficiently while proactively assisting colleagues whenever needed.
Like many fresh graduates, Minh Thư faced initial challenges when entering the corporate environment. Rather than stepping back, she actively sought guidance from senior colleagues and dedicated herself to refining both her technical expertise and interpersonal communication skills. This proactive mindset fueled her ongoing professional growth, leading to strong performances in internal company competitions and corporate initiatives.
Reflecting on her journey, Minh Thư offers valuable advice to current students: “Focus on your academic pursuits and actively participate in campus activities and movements. These experiences not only build essential practical skills, but they also significantly enhance your resume in the eyes of prospective employers.”
From earning multiple academic distinctions to thriving as an Administrative Specialist at a leading enterprise, Nguyễn Ngọc Minh Thư’s journey demonstrates that success is forged through hard work, continuous learning, and an unwavering drive for self-improvement.
