On March 22, Kien Giang College (KGC) hosted an engaging seminar titled “From Lecture Hall to Enterprise: Skills and Attitude Define Success.” Organized by the Student Affairs Department and the Faculty of Politics and Culture, the event provided College 9+ batch 4 students with practical insights and essential preparation for their transition into the professional workforce.

The seminar featured prominent guest speakers, including industry experts and successful alumni, who shared real-world stories to help students understand the current expectations of employers.

  • Industry Expectations: Ms. Trần Thị Hồng Thi, Deputy Director of Saigon Tourist (Rach Gia Branch), identified skills, attitude, and suitability as the three pillars of career success. She emphasized that effective communication and a positive mindset are vital for sustainable professional growth.
  • Alumni Perspective: Mr. Nguyễn Văn Muôn, an alumnus of Applied Informatics (College batch 8) and currently a Marketing Specialist at BYD NEG New Energy Auto, shared his experiences in corporate culture. He highlighted common mistakes made by fresh graduates and urged students to maintain a proactive learning attitude.
