“Success comes not from luck alone, but through relentless perseverance and continuous learning.” This ethos perfectly embodies the journey of Trần Xuân Lộc, an alumnus of Automotive Engineering 1 (Cohort 15), who currently serves as a General Maintenance Technician at VinFast Mechanical Kien Giang.
For Lộc, his time at Kien Giang College (KGC) was more than just an academic pursuit—it was a memorable chapter of his youth. Within KGC’s dynamic learning environment, he was surrounded by driven peers and mentored by a dedicated faculty. Beyond delivering technical knowledge, his instructors shared invaluable real-world industry insights, enabling students to understand employer expectations and thoroughly prepare for the labor market.
Driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence, Lộc earned the Good Academic Scholarship for three consecutive semesters—a testament to his serious attitude toward learning and personal growth. Alongside his studies, active participation in sports and extracurricular activities enriched his student life while honing essential soft skills, such as teamwork, solidarity, and personal confidence.
Upon graduation, Lộc joined VinFast Mechanical Kien Giang as a General Maintenance Technician. Working in a professional, cutting-edge environment required him to constantly update his expertise and master new technologies, particularly in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. Reflecting on his career journey, Lộc admits that starting out was challenging. Balancing high workload pressures, demanding technical standards, and rapid technological shifts posed initial hurdles. However, equipped with the solid foundation built at KGC and driven by perseverance and passion, he steadily overcame each obstacle. Today, he has completed advanced technical training in EV technology and continues to thrive in VinFast’s modern working environment.
As a proud alumnus, Trần Xuân Lộc offers a heartfelt message to current students: “Focus on your studies, continuously expand your knowledge, and proactively learn from your teachers. That will be your most valuable asset when stepping confidently into the professional world.” Lộc’s story stands as an inspiring testament to the power of dedication—showing that when ambition meets perseverance, success is well within reach.
