64 AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING STUDENTS COMPLETE INTERNSHIP AT VINFAST FACTORY IN HAI PHONG

Learning linked with practical experience is a key approach taken by Kien Giang College (KGC) to equip students with professional readiness while still in school. From April 15 to September 15, 2026, 64 students from the Automotive Engineering Technology program (Cohort 18 and 9+ cohort 3) completed a hands-on internship at the VinFast Factory in Hải Phòng.

More than an ordinary internship, the program served as an immersive gateway into a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment. Students directly explored corporate operational models, production organization, management principles, and task assignments. Through their daily responsibilities, participants recognized that professional knowledge must go hand-in-hand with discipline, proactivity, and workplace accountability, while honing essential practical skills for their future careers.

Throughout the five-month tenure, students received standard intern benefits alongside a steady stipend to help offset educational and living expenses. These practical incentives provided vital motivation, encouraging students to foster independence and initiative in their vocational training.

Corporate partnership remains a central pillar of KGC's educational strategy. By continuously expanding links with leading enterprises, the college ensures robust internship pathways and job placement opportunities, empowering students to build strong professional capabilities and secure their future careers.

Học tập gắn với thực tiễn là một trong những cách Trường Cao đẳng Kiên Giang giúp sinh viên chuẩn bị hành trang nghề nghiệp ngay từ khi còn ngồi trên ghế nhà trường. Từ ngày 15/04 đến 15/09/2026, 64 sinh viên ngành Công nghệ Ô tô CĐ K18 và CĐ 9+ K3 đã có thời gian thực tập, trải nghiệm môi trường làm việc thực tế tại Nhà máy VinFast Hải Phòng.

Không chỉ là một kỳ thực tập, đây còn là cơ hội để sinh viên trực tiếp bước vào môi trường sản xuất công nghiệp. Sinh viên có cơ hội tìm hiểu mô hình vận hành của doanh nghiệp, cách thức tổ chức sản xuất, nguyên tắc quản lý, phân công và giao việc. Qua từng nhiệm vụ, các bạn dần hiểu rõ hơn rằng để làm việc trong môi trường công nghiệp, kiến thức chuyên môn cần đi cùng tính kỷ luật, sự chủ động và tinh thần trách nhiệm. Quan trọng hơn, kỳ thực tập còn là hành trình rèn luyện những kỹ năng và phẩm chất cần thiết khác nhằm chuẩn bị cho công việc sau này.

Trong suốt thời gian thực tập, sinh viên được hỗ trợ các chế độ dành cho thực tập sinh, đồng thời có thêm thu nhập để hỗ trợ chi phí học tập. Đây là những giá trị thiết thực giúp kỳ thực tập không chỉ mang ý nghĩa học hỏi mà còn tạo thêm động lực để sinh viên chủ động và tự lập hơn trong hành trình học nghề.

Đối với KGC, hợp tác doanh nghiệp là một phần quan trọng trong định hướng đào tạo. Nhà trường không ngừng duy trì, mở rộng liên kết với các doanh nghiệp để tạo thêm cơ hội thực tập nghề nghiệp và kết nối việc làm cho sinh viên. Qua đó, sinh viên được học tập trong sự gắn kết giữa nhà trường và doanh nghiệp, từng bước hình thành năng lực nghề nghiệp và sẵn sàng tạo dựng tương lai.

On the morning of September 14, 2026, nearly 900 new students of Cohort 20 officially embarked on their academic and experiential journey at Kien Giang College (KGC).

Held at Campus 425 Mạc Cửu, the welcoming ceremony provided memorable moments for the incoming freshmen on their first official day as college students. Addressing the event, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hoàng Quyên, Vice Rector, and Dr. Lê Trung Kiên, Vice Rector, delivered warm congratulations and encouraging messages. College leaders urged the new students to proactively explore, engage in continuous learning, hone their essential skills, and maximize available opportunities to grow within the academic environment.

During the event, Dr. Nguyễn Minh Quân, Rector of Kien Giang College, presented awards to the top-scoring candidates admitted to each faculty. Recognizing outstanding academic performance from the outset serves as a well-deserved tribute to the students' hard work while motivating them for the journey ahead. Student representatives expressed their gratitude and determination to continuously strive for personal and professional growth.

On their first orientation day, freshmen also met with their academic advisors, acquainted themselves with classmates, and received essential guidance for the upcoming academic year, helping them build early connections and mentally prepare for their studies.
