In the Industry 4.0 era, proficiency in informatics is no longer just an advantage—it has become an essential skill across almost every profession. Today, businesses are constantly seeking a workforce capable of utilizing technology, designing, managing systems, and providing technical support to meet growth demands. Consequently, Applied Informatics is increasingly cementing its appeal, offering diverse career opportunities and stable incomes for graduates.

By pursuing Applied Informatics at Kien Giang College (KGC), students are equipped with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in software development, website design and administration, computer system assembly and installation, and networking. The program also offers in-depth training in graphic design and the use of modern professional software. With a curriculum that heavily emphasizes practical application, students can quickly adapt to real-world working environments and confidently build their careers while still at college.

Beyond classroom lectures, Applied Informatics students engage in practical work and field experiences at numerous enterprises both within and outside the province. Notably, KGC dedicates an entire semester for students to intern directly at businesses, allowing them to gain valuable experience, sharpen their professional skills, and significantly enhance their employability upon graduation.
