Joining in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the Liberation Day of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), International Labor Day (May 1st), and the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; the Trade Union of Kien Giang College organized a sports event for cadres, civil servants, and employees to respond to the movement "Physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh".

Heldfrom April 23rd to the morning of April 25th, 2026, the Sports Days brought together nearly 200 athletes from 14 Trade Union branches. The athletes competed enthusiastically at the Dormitory Multi-Purpose Hall (To Hien Thanh street) in four events: Chinnese chess, soft-volleyball, tug-of-war, and ballsthrowing into baskets. After a series of spirited and exciting competitions, the Sports Days concluded successfully on Saturday noon, April 25th, 2026.

The sports festival not only created a healthy playground to improve physical and mental fitness but also provided an opportunity for staff and workers to interact, learn, and strengthen solidarity among units. At the closing ceremony, representatives from the Board of Rectors and the Trade Union awarded prizes to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results. The college's leadership also expressed their hope that all staff and workers would continue to maintain a sporting spirit and improve their health to contribute even more to the sustainable development of KGC in the future.
