As part of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2026, the Volunteer Student Team from Kien Giang College (KGC) collaborated with the Executive Committee of the Tay Yen Commune Youth Union to visit and present gifts to policy-beneficiary families in Tay Yen Commune, An Giang Province.

During the visits, representatives from the Campaign Steering Committee, the Tay Yen Youth Union, and student volunteers warmly inquired about the health and daily lives of the families, offering heartfelt encouragement. On this occasion, the delegation presented 16 gift packages worth a total of 8 million VND to 16 policy-beneficiary families. The initiative was funded through generous sponsorships from Bao Viet Kien Giang Company (5 million VND) and SuperDong Kien Giang Fast Ferry Joint Stock Company (3 million VND).

This meaningful activity reflects the Vietnamese tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source" and expresses deep gratitude from KGC’s youth for the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations in the nation’s struggle for liberation, construction, and defense. Each gift represents respect, care, and heartfelt appreciation from the young volunteers to the policy families.

In addition to presenting gifts, the student volunteers inspected domestic electrical systems and replaced damaged lightbulbs in households, helping ensure safer and more convenient living conditions for residents.

Through these practical efforts, the youth of KGC and Tay Yen Commune continue to spread community responsibility, foster revolutionary traditions, and promote gratitude among young members—contributing to a memorable, impactful, and humane 2026 Summer Volunteer Campaign.
