A recent corporate internship trip to Northern Vietnam for 18th-cohort students in Information Technology and Electrical & Electronics marked a major professional milestone and a breakthrough for Kien Giang College’s Corporate Relations Board in innovating practical training modules.

1. Real-World Exposure with Paid Internships

Moving beyond theoretical learning, students directly joined high-volume manufacturing lines at Pegatron, a global tech leader. This immersive experience exposed students to international operational standards, high-tech production lines, and professional workplace discipline. In addition to technical skills and work ethic, students earned a legitimate income through paid internships, boosting their motivation and independence.

2. Cultural and Historical Immersion

Organized in partnership with GTA Edutech Vietnam Joint Stock Company, the program integrated enriching cultural and historical activities to foster holistic student development.

Students participated in field study trips to iconic historical landmarks in Hà Nội, including visiting the Hồ Chí Minh Mausoleum at Ba Đình Square, Hồ Chí Minh’s Stilt House, the Fish Pond, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Hồ Chí Minh Museum. These experiences provided future engineers with deeper insights into national history and President Hồ Chí Minh's life and legacy, instilling a strong sense of pride, responsibility, and discipline.

Guided by the strategy "School Accompanies – Enterprises Partner – Students Experience – Careers Flourish," KGC’s Corporate Relations Board will continue expanding high-quality internship initiatives. These programs ensure students gain hands-on experience, earn income, and develop professional readiness to meet the evolving demands of modern industry.
