In the Industry 4.0 era, Information Technology (IT) remains a pioneering field offering abundant career opportunities. A prime example of success in this sector is Nguyễn Văn Chiều, a dynamic alumnus from the IT, batch 15 at Kien Giang College (KGC), known for his academic dedication, resilience, and passion for the digital world.

During his time at KGC, Chiều demonstrated outstanding academic performance, repeatedly earning departmental scholarships and graduating with Honours in Information Technology. Beyond his studies, he was also an active participant in voluntary blood donation campaigns.

Following graduation, Chieu progressively advanced his career through key IT roles at major enterprises in Phú Quốc, serving as an IT Officer at Ocean Bay Resort & Spa and an IT Support Specialist at VinSchool Grand World. Leveraging his extensive experience and continuous efforts, he now holds the position of IT Manager at the luxury hotel Mường Thanh Luxury Phú Quốc.

Reflecting on his early career, Chiều shared: “As a fresh graduate, I faced numerous unfamiliar challenges. However, by persevering, staying determined, and learning from experienced IT seniors, I gained the practical insights necessary to streamline my work.” This resilience proved vital to overcoming initial hurdles and establishing a solid professional footing.

Chiều highly values his time at KGC, describing it as a friendly learning environment with dedicated lecturers who consistently support their students. He credits the solid academic foundation and practical skills acquired at the college with enhancing his problem-solving capabilities and boosting his confidence during job interviews. Furthermore, the essential soft skills cultivated at KGC—such as teamwork, communication, and collaborative problem-solving—have been crucial to his current professional success.
