
To practically celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026); the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2026); and the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026), on the afternoon of April 18, 2026, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and the Student Association of Kien Giang College, in coordination with the Executive Committee of Dinh Hoa Commune Youth Union, organized a career guidance program for 12th-grade students at Thoi Quan Lower and Upper Secondary School, Dinh Hoa commune, An Giang province.
Attending the program were Comrade Nguyen Van Tuan Vu – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of Kien Giang College; Ms. Phan Vo Thuy Linh – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Politics and Culture; Ms. Khuu Le Hai Yen – Lecturer of the Faculty of Politics and Culture. Representing the local authorities were Comrade Danh Minh Chi – Deputy Secretary of Dinh Hoa Commune Youth Union and Comrade Nguyen Van Truong – Secretary of the school Youth Union, along with the participation of 100 12th-grade students.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Tuan Vu emphasized the important role of career counseling in helping students define their abilities and choose professions that suit their strengths and societal needs. He also shared that Kien Giang College always focuses on innovating its enrollment activities in conjunction with practical career counseling, providing students with the necessary information to build their future academic and career paths.
The meeting was organized with many engaging and practical contents such as warm-up activities, cultural exchanges, introductions to training programs, sharing experiences in career selection, and direct Q&A with students. The atmosphere was lively and open, attracting the attention and active participation of 12th-grade students.

Specifically, within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 scholarships (500,000 VND each one) to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have shown a strong determination in their studies. This is a meaningful activity that contributes to motivating students' learning spirit, while also demonstrating the responsibility and support of the school's youth for the local student generation.


This career counseling activity not only provides students with useful information in choosing suitable professions, but also contributes to strengthening coordination between the school and the local community in educating and guiding young people towards career paths. Through this, the image of the dynamic, responsible, and enthusiastic youth of Kien Giang College continues to spread, affirming the role of the Youth Union and Student Association in supporting young people in establishing themselves, building careers, and developing their hometown.
